The Resurgence Trust is celebrating its 60th anniversary, marking six decades of promoting environmental stewardship, spiritual awareness, and peace. Through its *Resurgence & Ecologist* magazine and online platform, the trust has consistently championed a more sustainable future. This milestone is being celebrated with a special "One With The Earth" event, gathering influential environmental voices like Mya-Rose Craig, Areeba Hamid, and Jonathon Porritt. The message is clear: holding onto hope is crucial for tackling today's climate challenges and fostering a harmonious relationship with nature.

For sixty years, The Resurgence Trust has been a steady voice advocating for our planet. Founded by Satish Kumar, who recently turned 90, the trust has consistently highlighted the importance of living in harmony with nature and humanity. Kumar, global ambassador for the trust, emphasizes that "We need to hold on to hope now more than ever before," a sentiment that guides their work. His latest book, Peace is Possible, further underlines this mission.

The trust has nurtured many prominent environmental advocates. Mya-Rose Craig, a leading UK campaigner known as BirdGirl, credits *Resurgence* with giving her early opportunities and a platform to maintain her integrity. She even had the chance to interview Dame Jane Goodall through the magazine. Other key speakers at their anniversary event include Areeba Hamid from Greenpeace UK and Jonathon Porritt, co-founder of Forum for the Future. These diverse voices collectively speak for nature and humanity, echoing the trust's unwavering values.

The "One With The Earth" event in celebration of this milestone includes insightful talks, lively discussions, music, and poetry. While the day events are sold out, tickets are still available for a vegetarian fundraising dinner, reinforcing a commitment to sustainable choices. This gathering underscores the urgent need for collective climate action and reminds us that organizations like The Resurgence Trust provide vital spaces for hope, understanding, and progress towards a healthier planet.
