SpaceX recently announced its third-quarter 2026 financial results, marking its first significantly profitable quarter since becoming a public company. The report revealed a remarkable shift, with artificial intelligence (AI) and super intelligence (SI) emerging as the company's largest and fastest-growing segment. This strong performance, driven by massive revenue growth and increased profitability, signals a new era for the space and tech giant. Starlink connectivity and traditional space operations also continued their robust progress, contributing to the overall success.

SpaceX's recent earnings report showcased a phenomenal quarter, with revenue soaring to $14.58 billion, a huge jump from the previous year. What truly stands out is the explosive growth of its artificial intelligence and super intelligence (AI/SI) division, which for the first time became the company's biggest revenue generator. This segment, boosting income by an astonishing 830 percent year-over-year, was powered by new cloud agreements and the popularity of Grok models and the new Grok Bot personal agent here.

Alongside AI, SpaceX's Connectivity segment, primarily driven by Starlink, also saw impressive gains. Revenue reached $5.25 billion, with consumer subscribers growing to 13.6 million. Starlink's reach expanded significantly, now installed on thousands of aircraft making internet more accessible and better performing globally.

The traditional Space segment contributed $1.77 billion, highlighted by the successful first revenue-generating Starship mission which deployed advanced V3 Starlink satellites. These new satellites dramatically boost internet capacity. Overall, SpaceX's strong financial position, with substantial cash reserves, allows for continued innovation and investment. CEO Elon Musk called Grok Bot the “fastest-growing product I’ve ever seen,” underscoring the rapid shift and incredible potential of the company's AI focus. This swift evolution positions SpaceX at the forefront of combining space technology with cutting-edge AI.
