SpaceX Super Intelligence (SpaceXSI) has rolled out 'The X Subscription,' a new bundled offering for its advanced AI tools and social media features. This single plan combines Grok, Grok Bot, Cursor, and X Premium, aiming to provide a more integrated experience. With various tiers, including a significant value proposition at the $30 Premium level, SpaceXSI is making a strategic move in the competitive AI landscape. Tesla owners, in particular, are keen to understand how this impacts their in-car AI access.

SpaceX Super Intelligence, now officially rebranded from SpaceXAI, has launched its new 'The X Subscription' for users worldwide. This innovative offering streamlines access to a suite of advanced AI and social platform services, including the Grok AI, the Grok Bot task agent, the Cursor coding assistant, and X Premium perks, all under one roof. The company has structured the subscription with five different tiers, starting with a free plan that grants daily Grok access and an entry-level allowance for Cursor's coding agents.

For those seeking more extensive features, paid plans range from $8 to $200 per month, with annual billing options providing further savings. A notable highlight is the $30 Premium tier, which bundles services that previously cost around $90 a month. This tier provides SuperGrok, Cursor Pro, and X Premium+ benefits, alongside the Grok Bot, which helps manage daily tasks like ordering food. As users move up the tiers, their usage allowance for Grok and Cursor scales significantly, ensuring that the most demanding users have ample resources.

This launch comes after SpaceX acquired the coding company Cursor for $60 billion earlier this year. Shortly after the acquisition, OpenAI announced it would cut Cursor’s access to its models starting November 12. By integrating Cursor deeply with its own Grok AI and offering shared usage pools, SpaceXSI is strategically positioning its ecosystem to attract and retain developers, encouraging them to leverage SpaceXSI’s proprietary AI models.

For Tesla owners, the integration of Grok Bot is particularly relevant. It was recently introduced into Tesla vehicles, including the Cybercab and Model Y Robotaxi fleet. While prior access for personal Tesla owners was limited to SuperGrok Heavy subscribers, the new subscription structure raises questions about how these plans will affect in-car AI features for personal vehicles. SpaceXSI is gradually rolling out the new plans, allowing existing subscribers to transition to the unified system at their convenience.
