Optimus robots, which Musk calls Tesla's most significant product, are already moving into production at a dedicated line in Fremont, with a larger factory planned for Giga Texas aiming for 10 million units annually by summer 2027. The Robovan, first seen in 2024, is designed to move up to 20 passengers or large amounts of freight at a very low cost, without a driver, steering wheel, or pedals.
